BetMGM Data Breach

DENVER, Dec. 24, 2022 —   Consumer-rights law firm, Berens Law LLC, is investigating BetMGM, LLC regarding its recent data breach. 

What Happened?:

According to BetMGM, LLC, in May 2022, it experienced a data breach wherein an unauthorized party accessed its computer systems and potentially obtained customer names, contact information (such as postal address, email address and telephone number), dates of birth, hashed Social Security numbers, account identifiers (such as player ID and screen name) and information related to customer transactions. BetMGM, LLC has not yet disclosed the total number persons affected by this data hack.

In response, BetMGM, LLC sent out data breach letters to affected parties, informing them of the incident.
